Pair of modernist floor lamps in weathering steel designed by Peter Preller for Tecta, Germany, 1980s.

Designed in the 1980s by German designer and interior architect Peter Preller, these floor lamps exude a sense of tranquility with their Zen-like simplicity, while the seamless construction adds to their aesthetic appeal. Made from weathering steel, the lamps showcase a beautiful patina that enhances their visual allure. Additionally, both lamps also feature a large removable brass shade, which adds a touch of elegance to their overall design. With two lightbulbs each, they provide ample illumination for any curated space. Both lamps feature the original manufacturer’s label, “Tecta,” above the base.
