Pair of armchairs model “Laila” designed by the Finnish designer Ilmari Lappalainen and manufactured by Asko in Finland, 1950s.

These iconic armchairs were designed by the famous Finnish designer Ilmari Lappalainen and manufactured by the company Asko in the 1950s. These armchairs are very elegant in their appearance featuring a classic Nordic look which explains their sheer popularity. They feature a slightly wide-shaped frame, wooden tapered legs and are newly reupholstered in textured premium “Sahara” sheepskin which adds a soft touch for comfort and further elevates each chair’s modern aesthetic, size and shape, especially its back. These armchairs are a perfect seating solution for a living room or perhaps a bedroom.
