Center square coffee table designed by famed Danish designer Erik Herløw (1913-1991). Manufactured by Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in Sweden, 1960s. Made from teak and lacquered metal. This piece comes from Nordiska Kompaniet’s ‘Triva Modul’ series, which was produced by the company during the 1960s. The table features the original manufacturer’s label, ‘Ab Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm’ (underneath the tabletop). A rare piece by the Danish designer, this table exemplifies Herløw’s acclaimed designs, which have been exhibited globally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
