Rare pair of sculptural wall lamps in brass and glass, manufactured by Kamenický Šenov in former Czechoslovakia, 1970s.

These wall lamps have a magnificent sculptural design. Each lamp features a central brass fixture that holds two large glass spheres in addition to a number of smaller glass spheres featuring a beautiful quilted pattern.

Being a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature, these rare lamps were designed by the Czech designer and glass artist Jaroslav Bejvl Sr. who achieved world fame for his outstanding lighting designs. The design of these lamps was afterward further developed by academic sculptor Ivo Vyhnánek.
